Crazy, I know, but I couldn’t help myself. Ice cream in the middle of February when it’s well below freezing is crazy. But it was worth every. Minute. Of. Goodness.
An ice cream connoisseur by choice, I could eat ice cream for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Bang Bang Ice Cream offers a wide variety of interesting and tasty flavours of ice cream ranging from Avocado to Cinnamon Toast to even Lychee with Raspberry Curd and Rosewater. The flavours they offer, which are all made in house, are endless. Naturally I went for a mixture of two of my favourite food groups – ice cream and cookies. I opted for the BDay Cookie Don in their new egg waffle cone and I was not disappointed.
Along with egg waffle cones, they also offer ice cream sandwiches with homemade cookies or puffs. You can’t go wrong with any one of the choices.
An absolute great place to try out in the summer or winter time. Be aware that they have little to no signage (are we seeing a trend here?) when looking for this gem. But don’t worry, you’ll find the place no problem – just look for the line-up of people out the door and wrapped around the corner. It’s hard to miss.
